Overview:
The bridge at La Fiere carried the road from Ste. Mere-Eglise across the Merderet River and was the main objective of the 101st Airborne’s 1st Battalion, 505th Regiment. After a successful drop, they set off for their objective a mere 1,000 yards away – only to be met with machine gun fire from a farm on the outskirts of town. The farmhouse would have to be taken before they could move against the bridge. . .

2016-02-14(D) Michael Dorosh vs Colin Emerson American winAmerican won by end of CCPh Turn 4 (of 8 turns). Good use of WP smoke to mask my HMGs. Played with the German balance and didn't help at all. EDIT - unbelievable. Literally five minutes before I entered this playing, someone else uploaded ERRATA for the scenario. Wasn't there when I checked at start. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED YOU!!??!111 :-)
2016-02-14(A) Colin Emerson vs Michael Dorosh American win8 Turns is way too long for the Germans to hold out. Game ended Allied CC of Turn 4. White phosphorous smoke on HMG's is a big plus for the Americans. I can only see the Germans winning by getting huge ROF's against an attacker just throwing his units at them. Even used German balance.....NOT balanced
