2018-09-13(D) Louis Langdeau vs Andrew S German winGermans win by CVP cap on German Turn 5. Andy had a bit of a tricky time starting off, and I managed to slap back his initial wave and break a good amount of his starting troops. After the shock of that wore off, he quickly redeployed a lot of his troops to my right flank, and brought up his INF gun to start shelling foxholes and my bunker. The INF gun did great work breaking up one of my MMG hexes and wounding a leader, and his flanking move ended up breaking my defenses on the right and getting onto the hill. Things were looking good, when my MMGs went on a ridiculous rate tear, along with my SAN 5 sniper going rambo on quite a few of his units. After a few big shots and sniper activations, I had 5 more CVP than Andy did, and the game ended. Definitely a fun scenario for a quick bash though, and one I'm sure we'll play again.
2013-05-26(D) Scott Fischbein vs Bryant Henley French winGreat game against Bryant, as usual. Was looking pretty good for the Germans, but after the French scored two leaders from sniper kills, and then finished off a conscript squad in CC on the last roll of the game - it was all over. Great scenario with lots of interesting tactical decisions and funky LOS.
2013-03-24(A) Andrew Young vs John Lehman French winCame down to last CC DR.
2010-03-27(A) Pieter Van Innis vs Roland Pirard French win
1998-01-14(D) Fred Ingram vs Rich Summers French win
