2024-02-01 | (D) Rob Tyson | vs | Peter Dunn | British win | Interesting little scenario. I was pretty convinced early on that I was going to lose as the Brits as I wasn't overly happy with my defending setup, but the German ART and AFV ended up being non entities, with the ART doing no damage, and the AVF being taken out by the ATR.
2023-08-05 | (A) Kevin Duval | vs | Dwayne Duval | D | German win | As the Germans I completely diced my opponent without question. 118 rolls of the dice with 6.5 average says enough. |

2022-11-25 | (A) Dmitry Klyuykov | vs | Herbert | German win (VASL Log) | Germans put part of the Tretten townhall ablaze with prebombardment, and rushed towards it under the cover of 150mm gun smoke. After the several bloody CCs Germans were able to clear the townhall and nearby buildings at the middle of the game, but already lost 7 CVP (of 12 allowed) while doing that. Gebirgsjäger skiers had some swift snow hill ride to get to the British rear, surrounding the defenders and threatening several free buildings. German PzII (5 CVP!) came to support the infantry with MGs firepower, but foolishly run right into the Street Fighting ambush. Gott mit uns, British squad didn't pass PAATC, so crew realized the danger and moved forward to link up with the rest of German panzer spearhead somewhere to the north. Big caliber of the supporting gun allowed to achieve several important hits with ATT, so the Germans tooks 22 buildings at the end of Turn 5, still hanging at dangerous CVP mark but breaking enough defenders to prevent the possible counterattack in advance. Another great game with Herbert. Thank you for the game!
2022-04-11 | (D) David Garvin | vs | Nick Faryna | British win | Brits won on CVP count.

2020-12-10 | (A) Rob MacGinley | vs | Jason Nichols | German win | The Game was about the slow grind forward for the Germans and the need for good rolls in a very wintery environment My thrill was my ski troops gliding down the edge edge in two turns to attack at the back of the board which helps upset all plans of the Brits
2020-12-10 | (D) Jason Nichols | vs | Rob MacGinley | German win | Well played by Rob. Even though his gun malfunctioned and didn't play much of a roll he was able to push through the scattered British defenders and capture the required number of building hexes.
2020-05-18 | (D) Andy Bagley | vs | David Murray | German win | I started well as the Brits, particularly as the German 150mm gun malf'ed on its first shot. But unfortunately he managed to repair it, and it then started killing eveything it hit (it's very powerful even with area fire). I tried to keep out of it's LOS as much as possible, and the split-level building in 15G5-H5 is very useful for this, but not enough on its own. I needed to stop the Germans advancing through the buildings along the river bank, and tried to do this by supporting CC with my hero. His performance was distinctly non-heroic however, and I simply ran out of troops in the end.
2019-08-17 | (A) Shane Pask | vs | German win | Enjoyable even though the Poms put up no resistance. Ski troops went around the back of the hill to surround the Poms while the main force assaulted up the guts. Big gun interdicted buildings along the road to discourage British occupancy but did no damage and the crew was broken by the sniper on the last Pom turn (the only activation of the British sniper all scenario). Germans captured 24 building hexes and Poms managed only 3 CVP when ski troops stupidly attacked the large building in the saddle on turn 5 which was still untouched at game end.
2019-07-05 | (A) Dave Mareske | vs | Paul Works | British win | Brits killed my tank with a LMG and pushed me over the CVP cap, otherwise it was a likely German win.
2019-07-05 | (D) Paul Works | vs | Dave Mareske | British win
2019-04-20 | (A) Vic Lauterbach | vs | ML | German win | Not bad, but not very exciting. German 150* never missed and the LMOR chipped in by breaking British units that fell back. The British did kill the PzIIA in CC, but fell one short of the CVP cap!
2013-08-21 | (A) Andy Beaton | vs | Mark Watson | German win
2013-08-21 | (D) mark watson | vs | Andy Beaton | German win | Very neat scenario, between the skis, the snow, and the fire. Brits did very little damage but held strong for the first-half, but the INF gun methodically blew-up everyone it could possibly hit. The decimated Brits were unable to hold-out so I gave up on my turn 5. Good fun!
2013-02-25 | (D) Luke Sineath | vs | John Bock | British win | The German choice in Flame placement is very important!
2012-11-11 | (A) Martí Cabré | vs | Santiago López | German win | I put the blaze in the big building most close to the German departure line. Then I started popping smoke with the gun and sending most of the units forward covered by the smokes. Wind started blowing and this generated more drifting smoke that helped me. The skiers went straight to the first building on the hill. The gun blasted it and the skiers took it. Then I put a killer stack up on the building that is resting on the hill and poured fire on every Brit in sight. The Brits had to slowly retreat, pursued by the German machineguns and the gun. The AFV entered and traded some shots. I kept the broken British DM every turn and tried to inflict casualties to open a way to the big buildings necessary for victory. Finally I got to the crucial point where I had to risk it. I used the skiers to offer some shots to the British strong point, and rushed some squads forward. Some of them did it, and I left other squads to cover the taken building hexes so the British were not able to retake them. With one turn to go, the British conceded. German victory!
2011-08-27 | (A) John Van Natta | vs | Jeff T | British win | The German gun malfunctioned on it's first shot of the game and was never a factor. The Germans started strong but as they pushed into the village the British defense, led by the hero, coalesced to slow them down. The pivotal moment in the scenario was when the British 9-1 and his squad survived a 3MC and prevented my flanking force from rolling up the Brits left flank and taking several buildings. An ill-conceived close combat in which I overcommitted my force in hopes of an overwhelming and quick CC victory turned in to a melee that lasted the remainder of the game and left me with too few squads to take that final building hex on the last turn. I ended up with 19 of the 20 required hexes.
2011-08-27 | (D) Jeff T | vs | JVan | British win | Read JVan's account. Close battle that probably should have been a German win but the dice gods favored the Brits late as they had just enough to hold onto 1 extra building. The British Hero was effective throughout and stopped two German mid-right thrusts almost single handed. Fun scenario but with the German gun malfing on the first shot and then breaking, it seemed it wasn't meant to be for the Krauts.
2008-09-09 | (A) David Ramsey | vs | Simon Taylor | German win | Pretty average scenario, German is hard pushed to do everything (20 Building hexes in 5.5 turns) but the British have poor troop quality and can get flanked fairly easily
