Overview:
By dawn of D-Day, Lt. Colonel Robert Strayer had pieced together a unit comprised of scattered men from three Parachute Regiments. Radio communication with HQ didn’t exist. All Strayer knew for certain was that his objective was to clear the southern causeway from Utah Beach. As the sun rose, he led his patchwork force toward the beach exits. Within minutes, the paratroopers encountered German resistance…

2017-10-02(A) Jeff B vs Nick Rusch American winNever having played this before, I can see why this one's a popular learning scenario. It almost plays like a SK game in its relative simplicity and quickness. In this case the Americans made a hard push down the western side with little standing in their way. The Germans attempted to cover, but a stack with a leader and two squads got broken in the process and that was pretty much it.

2017-01-01(D) B-E Karlsson vs American American win
2016-11-24(D) Alessandro Canevese vs Frånz German win
2016-06-16(D) Martí Cabré vs Nicolas Sabido German winGerman deployed along the map edge to put pressure on Americans. Americans chose to attack on both flanks at the same time, one stronger than the other. Germans used a lot of spray fire to place residual fire and moved aggressively the units to cover all routs of approach. After turn 3 Germans had killed 9 CVP and Americans had exited 2 EVP. The 7 VP left were broken, so Americans conceded. I think the Americans should move tighter and use they huge firepower to open a hole and then run through it.
2015-12-08(D) Michael Dorosh vs Colin Emerson German winGood, quick game, set up critical.
2015-12-08(A) Colin Emerson vs Michael Dorosh German winSetup everything together on one side of the board as the Americans. Then run for your life. You should be easily able to smash your way through his defenses, that are spread to cover the whole board. Learn from my lessons
2015-07-25(D) Gordon Jupp vs Jeremy Shields German win
2015-07-22(D) Thierry Mathy vs Jero American win
2014-02-08(A) Raoul Duke vs SD American winI'm a little surprised at the record for this one. It strikes me as favoring the Americans. The ability of the US player to concentrate his force, combined with the German lack of SW, seems to make defending this a challenge.
2011-12-01(D) Brian Ogstad vs Gavin Ogstad German win
2011-01-14(A) Davide Bendazzi vs Edo Giaroni American win
2010-03-31(D) Kermit Mullins vs Scott Waites German winSingle 4-6-7 stopped final move off south edge.Sieg!
2010-02-19(D) Michael Rodgers vs Sam Harper German winGreat for a short ASL session, or breaking in a SK player.
2004-01-20(A) Juan Garrido vs Pecete German win
