PolandSlovakian
Overview:
Polish attack Slovakians with the bulk of their mixed elite, 1st line and green force along with a SW mortar, entering from the North on turn one. They recieve turn two reinforcements from the East or West within two hexes of a predesignated hex. The Polish player wins by controlling one or more multihex buildings at game end. Slovakians can setup in two distinct locations, the forward (Northerly) location is within 5 hexes of the North edge of the board but allows only four half-squads with unlimited SW and leaders. The bulk of the Slovakian defence force must be deployed in the Southern part of the board great than 5 hexes from the North edge. The Slovakian's have an entirely elite force along with an 81mm Ordnance mortar with XX capability and two MMGs. Both sides have weak (1) smoke ability, the Polish have a slight edge in range and morale.

2018-06-15(A) J M vs Poland winPoles smashed it, particularly down the west flank. Fun scenario. Def would play again.
2018-04-25(A) O Ramaille vs Poland winThe Slovakians set an advanced line of defense with MGs in order to slow down the Poles. Scattered elements (half-squads) were left behind to prevent flanking maneuvers from the Poles. The Poles advanced quickly into position and forced their way to the settlement. The flanking Pole section rushed from the East, eliminated some Slovakians in melee and captured a large building. The remaining Slovakian forces gathered in the woods and threatened to get back the control of the two large buildings that the Poles now control. Forcing entry through melee, they succeeded in preventing the Poles the control of one building. Not enough to win they day. A great scenario with deadly melees. As an example a Slovakian leader sacrificed and killed 2 Pole squads. A Slovakian MMC slaughtered two Pole squads with a leader and promoted a new leader.

2013-04-01(D) Dmitry Klyuykov vs Sergey Slovakian win
2012-09-22(D) Rohan Carty vs Nick Kerr Slovakian winGame ended up in a brutal close combat, denying the poles control of the only building they were able to move up to.
2012-03-17(A) Martí Cabré vs Javier Romero Slovakian winA tight scenario with high quality squads of minor armies. Lost on the last CC of the last turn when a Slovakian counterattack dislodged my units from a building, rolling the needed '3'.
2012-01-15(D) Pedro Ferrer vs barbosa gd Poland win
2011-08-28(A) Edward Fritz vs Dave Bresson Poland winGreat scenario to demonstrate the use of mortars.
2011-06-25(D) Paul Messina vs Andrew Muller Slovakian win
2011-06-19(A) Alex Rozdymakha vs Hamsterling Poland win
2011-06-08(A) Kermit Mullins vs Scott Waites Slovakian winMy Poles were good up until turn 4...took a risk and got burned moving 2 squads in the open. Lost both to a 2-4-7 that rolled back to back 3's. Slovaks ko'd my Poles...such sadness.
