2018-08-04(D) Stephen dedier vs Holt, Jim German winThis one was close fought. The Germans were overrunning the poor Russians when the ART went on a tear and mauled 2.5 squads and a leader. A couple of squads we holding out on the hill one in CC and another in a foxhole. Russian reinforcements managed to get into a good position behind and in the rubble. Start of the last Russian turn 1 Russian squad in CC in the victory buildng 1 Squad in a foxhole with a hero withn 2 of the victory building 3 squads in the Rubble and behind it. So i had 4 squads in position (3 needed for victory) and a CC. During the German d-fire 2x 4 +1 shots broke the unit in the foxhole and one behind the rubble and my other unit in CC was eliminated. Hope was lost with the Germans still having a turn to go. Great game though.

2015-12-06(D) Michael Rodgers vs Bob Tufano Russian winNYS ASL Championship with Russian 8-1 upgraded to 9-2.
2015-10-10(D) Seumas Hoskins vs Pete Shelling Russian winRussian setup was concentrated on the objective point. The Germans lost the first 150 early with the INF Gun taking multiple shots at it. The second 150 rolled box cars for a smoke attempt on the Gun, forcing it into Recall. The Gun also had a solid shot on a German killstack in the woods. The German advance through the woods saw two leaders go heroic only to have both killed within moments during the same phase. The FT broke on its second use (the first merely revealed dummies) and the DC attempt on the Gun left the crew unharmed but rattled a 5-2-7 with them. The Germans successfully flanked a half-squad and leader around to DM the routed Russian groups, forcing them to bounce from cover to cover. The game ended after turn 5 with the Russians having 6.5 good order squad equivalents within the objective (including the Gun, MMG, and LMG) and the Germans having 1.5 squad equivalents still in good order.
