The 81st Infantry Division landed on Angaur Island on 17 September, with two Regimental Landing Teams forming two beachheads. On 18 September, American forces connected the two beachheads and the 322nd Regiment nearly reached the western shore which would cut the island in two. 2019-04-27(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Japanese winGreat night scenario with a lot of movement and tough tactical decisions to make. Close combats brutal as my Japanese collided with HIP US forces. Straying took one of my stacks right into the a US MMG and then at the end Dan's 9-1 stack would stray and this would allow me to exit the required 10 VP off the north edge. Wild game that came down to that last straying roll.
