Overview:

ML457 had managed to puts ashore Capt. Pritchard, the chief demolition expert of the assault force, along with his demolition control party and Lts. Walton and Watson, with a demolition and a power force team respectively. ML457 now stood off awaiting the signal to retrieve the shore parties. However, precious few other teams were ashore in the area. Pritchard began their assignment of checking up on the progress of the various demolition teams. Meanwhile Lt. Watson was earmarked to destroy the swing bridge in the Old Town.
