2019-06-15(A) O Ramaille vs German winThe Shermans approached Ecausseville from the South and waited for the infantry support. Then, providing some smoke cover the US troops assaulted the first resistance node with some hidden German squads. The Americans tried to turn the city West to get cover from the grain. But they suffered heavy casualties from several shots. The 88LL AT gun revealed itself and destroyed one Sherman and another burnt from panzerfaust hit. The assault stalled with only 4 German squads equivalent eliminated and most of the US troops KIA or routed. A German victory.
