They were heading south towards Warsaw as part of the overall German plan to trap the Polish armies west of the Vistula River. In the path of the German advance was Army Modlin, of whom the Mazowiecka Cavalry Brigade was a part. The Polish were fighting the German advance tooth and nail.

2024-09-24(D) O Ramaille vs Macari Samuel German winThe Polish defense concentrate around the objective buildings, concealing themselves from German view. The Panzers IB moved forward in two groups but were soon either immobilized or destroyed by ATR, mortar and armored cars. Meanwhile, the German infantry steadily progressed through orchard or grain. The German ATR finally took out the feared armored cars turning around and firing with their gun and rear MGs. This allowed German troops to progress on their right wing and take the first bulding. The Polish defenders resisted quite well. In the last turn, the final German assault succeeded at last in breaking the Poles and secure victory with the unique half-squad able to control the building. A huge festival of DR2 for both sides and sniper activation. A fun play.
Two or three more OB-given concealment counters would have been great for the Poles.
2024-02-19(D) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd Polish winAfter finishing off the last Polish AC, the Germans made a dash for the victory buildings and it took two lucky FPF shots to either pin or break the advance denying the victory to the Germans.
2022-09-29(A) Eric Partizan Eric vs Polish win
2021-10-07(A) Paolo Cariolato vs Federico Corso German winFederico tried for a wide defence with both vehicles in the center to protect the Victory buildings.
It didn't worked, I crashed with everything in the center except a MMG and and LMG con my left for keeping at bay his right flank.
We traded shot but at the end of second turn I had overruned his center with just one AFV killed and one stunned, while he had lost 2 and half squad and one MA disabled. It was game over.
His terrible rolls didn't help and my MMG keeping rate rolling 3-3-3-3-2 didn't help either.
All in all the Poles have a truly hard duty in keeping the Germans at bay while not being trapped in the woods in front of the victory buildings.
The number of kills from the AC is pivotal in winning this scenario.
2021-08-24(A) patrick palma vs Zeb Tingley German win
