Overview:

Throughout the winter of ‘42–‘43, the Soviets launched repeated attacks to relieve the siege of Leningrad. The hard-pressed Germans rebuffed one attack after another, but in so doing, their lines became progressively thinner. Finally, the Germans had to develop a trip wire defense of light local forces, backed by a “fire brigade” mobile force, which was quickly dispatched to the inevitable breakthrough sector. Such a fire brigade was 1st Company, schwere Panzer Battalion 502, with ace tanker Cpt. Hans Bölter, who was called upon to halt a major Russian armored incursion by a full battalion of the 122nd Tank Brigade.
Attacker: Russian (Elements of 122nd Tank Brigade)

2020-08-16(A) O Ramaille vs German winThe Russians attacked from multiple directions trying to exit as much tanks as possible. However, the powerful OBA immobilized 3 of them and destroyed one. Whereas the Tigers destroyed even more T-34s with accurate shots and helpful ROF. Four T-34s managed to exit destroying one Panzer IIIN in the process.
A German victory.
2020-05-20(D) David Ramsey vs Simon Taylor German winThe Germans won against a Russian tactic which was to push as hard as possible in multiple directions.

The Tiger & 9-1 AL malf'd its first shot and its partner popped a dud into his first target but things started to swing around for the Germans thanks to some bunching up of the T34s which the OBA took care of and then some deadly ROF with the repaired gun.

This scenario isn't quite the cake-walk for the Russians as has been said, but for less experienced players this is a daunting task - which makes it well suited to more introductory (large scale) ASL play.
2020-02-21(D) David Ramsey vs Nic German winThe PzIIIn's chipped in with a couple of kills but the Russian centre-attack against the Tigers was halted with good RoF and some unlucky bog rolls on the Russian side.
2019-05-18(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Russian winWell..the Russians managed to exit 8 tanks on Turn 5. I broke my radio, so no OBA, I malf'd a Tiger I MA and it never fired a shot, and my AT gun never saw a Russian tank. So...Bolter destroyed 5 tanks and immobilized one and was the scenario MVP, but it wasn't enough to stop Dan's Russians from winning. Fun game for sure!
