Overview:
For months the Bulgarian armored forces were driven forward against the retreating Germans with the only vehicular replacements being captured German vehicles. All of the armor in the Bulgarian arsenal needed major overhaul. The Germans they faced were in no better condition. Their problems were compounded by a lack of supply and logistics resulting from collapses at home. But both sides fought on. At Yastrebci, an attack typical of this period occurred. The Armored Regiment in conjunction with the 47th Infantry Regiment attacked the village and its defenders.Attacker: Bulgarian (Armoured Battalion and 47th Infantry Regiment)
