Overview:

In their first action as a combat division, the troops of the SS-Freiwilligen Division 7 (Prinz Eugen) mount a sweep of a sparsely-populated area deep in the heart of Tito territory in Yugoslavia. Battling the bitter cold as well as the partisans, the green Prinz Eugen troops have a frustrating time attempting to tie down the enemy in a truly decisive battle. On this day, however, the partisans have been caught preparing to evacuate a village, and the SS troops are able to deploy a flame-throwing tank...

2023-09-11(A) Richard Jenulis vs Tycho Granville German (SS) winThe Flame Thrower was devastating. One H39 was destroyed by a Hero with a Demo. The other three tanks were bogged or immobilized. A first for me, my H39 crew abandoned their tank after being immobilized and were eliminated. The partisans captured and crewed the tank and started firing on the other H39 adjacent to it. The two fired at each other like two man-of-wars until the captured tank MA malfunctioned. Big fun!
2021-01-16(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German (SS) winMy Partisan had some early success in breaking Dan's Prinz Eugen boys, but the tanks really turned the tables by Turn 4 and by Turn 5, it was clear that the Partisans were going down hard. Great win for Dan.

2014-07-26(D) Michael Rodgers vs Gary Trezza German (SS) winI had the Partisans against Gary Trezza with Germans dressed as Axis Minors. The scenario has some interesting quirks like huts in the ETO, Deep Snow and Germans that can’t multi-hex fire group. I misread the VC, AND forgot my reinforcements, so the less said about this match, the better.
