Overview:

Final scenario of a 3 scenario mini-campaign covering the landing of Darby's Rangers on Sicily. All of the American forces which survived the first scenario (Gela 1--Force X Arrives!) and the second scenario (Gela 2--The Relief of Company F) are added to the initial American OB for this scenario. . . . Once they landed, the Ranger's job was not over. They still had to take the Italian city of Gela. Companies D, E, and F of the 4th Rangers were assigned to take the Cathedral of Gela. The Stalwart defenders of the Italian Sixth Army would see that this was as difficult as the beach landings. After a long morning on the beaches, the 4th Rangers headed inland for their main objective. With armor support from elements of the 1st Division, the Big Red One, Companies D, E, and F were assigned to take and hold the Cathedral of Gela, a strong-point on the edge of town.
