Overview:

The war was in its final hours. Fleeing Grman units were attempting to stay ahead of the Russians and surrender to the Americans or British. On the outskirts of Waidhoffen, a kampfgruppe of one Jagdtiger and a few PzIVs was given the task of covering the retreat and delaying the Russians. Finally, the last fleeing soldiers passed the kampfgruppe where SS-Sturmmann Ernest Kufner, manning the radio on one of the Reich's last remaining Jagdtigers, heard that the Russians were closing fast on the tail of the column. The Jagdtiger commander directed the PzIVs to a field where he ordered their crews to destroy their vehicles. The Jagdtiger then moved to block the road as to prevent Russian tanks from crossing a stream. The crew then blew up rhe Jagdtiger as the Russians where coming into view. The remaining dismounted crews ran to a wood-gas burning truck to try to escape. . . . .German infantry, PzIVJs and a Jagdtiger are desperately trying to escape to the grasp of a Company of T34/85s. Can the Germans destroy their own vehicles and escape?
