Overview:

Japan and Russia were at war. Fierce battles had been fought on the Mongolian plains, but neither side had managed to achieve a decisive victory. In early June the Japanese command decided to change tactics and mount an offensive spearheaded by Major General Yasuoka's two tank regiments. On 6 July, Japanese tanks and infantry executed a flanking attack against an obstinate Russian anti-tank unit.

2024-01-31(A) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett Japanese winThe AT Gun broke after the 3rd shot taken against the Japanese tanks, and then was eliminated on the repair roll. This allowed the Japanese tanks to instantly encircle and dominate the Russian defenders. Any breaks turned into eliminations as they couldn't move anywhere without getting closer to the steel beasts. Russian reinforcements attempted to set up on the hillock but the dice were never in favor, especially with the need to use Red TH numbers. (A super lucky critical hit by one of the Chi-Ro's did not help...) Russians never really had a chance after Japanese turn 2.
