Overview:

RUSSIA’S CZECHOSLOVAK LEGION of World War One was an army without a country. The 60,000-man unit, raised between 1915 and 1917, was made up of Czech and Slovak patriots keen to free their ancestral homeland from Austrian rule. By taking up arms in the name of the Russian Tsar, the men of the unit hoped that after the war the great powers would reward them with statehood. But when in 1917, the Bolsheviks rose to power following the collapse of Russia’s Romanov dynasty and then made a separate peace with the Central Powers, the Czechoslovak Legion suddenly found itself trapped deep inside an unwelcoming country. With nowhere to run, the unit fought its way across 9,000 kilometers of Siberian wilderness towards the Pacific port city of Vladivostok… and hopefully freedom.
Attacker: Czechoslovakian (Scouting elements of 2nd Reserve Regiment and Regiments 5 and 8, 2nd Infantry Division, Czech Legion)

2023-10-16(D) Richard Jenulis vs Tycho Granville Red Russian winThe Russians set up an upfront defense that surprised the Czechs. The Russians suffered a significant amount of casualties, but slowed the Czechs down enough to deny the victory.
2021-03-04(A) Jobbo Fett vs Hypnobeard Czechoslovakian winMy opponent forgot their OB-given concealment counters, unfortunately, which gave me a rather unfair advantage. Some great rolls on their parts, and some good positions for their guns really forced me to consider my moves. Tough for the defender nonetheless, and my two CHs against armored cars put a lot of pressure in return.

Definitely worth playing, leaning towards giving the Russians the balance.
2015-12-27(A) Brian Ogstad vs Gavin Ogstad Czechoslovakian win
