Overview:

After retreating from Quinnangpo, the Red Army made a series of marches in all directions to confuse the KMT. The confusion had its desired effect, the KMT had a hard time engaging an enemy that was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The Guizhou Warlord Wang Jailie decided to block the Loushan Pass north of Zunyri in case the Red Army returned. The Red Army sent the 3rd Army at the double to reach the pass first.

2022-02-16(A) Jobbo Fett vs Hypnobeard Red Army winWe really didn't jive with the scenario bidding system. Essentially one side has no disadvantage to losing the bid, and when its conscripts [only] with no good leaders VS partisans that have a commissar leader and a 9-1, it becomes quite imbalanced. Its strange to see the bidding system used the way it is and not in a way that has more of an impact on the quality of your troops or the state of the board.

If anything, it is even more confusing as a tie in bidding results in the conscripts KMT coming from off-board having spent half their MF, whereas the Red Chinese partisans must CX. Having to CX is hardly a punishment when going uphill with 4MF and ground snow, whereas the Conscripts can't even do that in the advance phase!

Skip this one unless you can balance it yourselves.
