Overview:

Operation Tractable was underway and almost complete. As part of the operation the Canadian 1st Army was tasked to advance toward Falaise and link up with the American forces executing Operation Tractable. Several bridgeheads were laid over the Le Laizon River, but in front of the Canadian 3rd Infantry Division a kampfgruppe from the German 85th Infantry Division was resisting and holding a bridge in the town of Montboint.

2025-03-06(A) rene cote vs mrosberg German winOne WASP ran out of fuel on first shot. Despite that, Cdns got on other side of river and tried to rush every position in turn 6 but could not break the GE in the last stone building for a GE win. Tried Sd5 (smoke) with the wasps repeatedly, but got it only once over 6 or 7 attempts. Always kept the wasp in motion at end of their turn to really make them harder to hit
2025-03-02(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Matias Dahlbäck Canadian winThis is a good one if you want to learn about flamthrowing AFVs. The 50L opened fire on First Wasp, lost rate and teh second one broke the crew. For a while it seemed two Wasps would fry the German defence but at tthe last moment a 50mm mortar hit immobilized one of the Wasps and the game went into distance, last Germas were elimited by the remaining Wasp at last turn 6 MPh.

German has to be relly care ful with the gun setup, hitting a Wasp is relly difficult to so the gun needs a protected position. On the other hand any hit is a kill.

German resist until 4 turn and then counter attack..
Great placement of the German AT ...with its ROF make a huge amount on fire
2020-05-09(D) Andrea Noia vs Andrea Manzoli German winWasp can be deadly but are extremely vulnerable (especially to the PAK38 gun of the germans). Placing the gun in the right place is essential to get a victory. I was almost collapsing by turn 4 but with some luck and a good ROF the last stone houses resisted.
Not so easy to cross the river for the british.
