Overview:

The war in Europe was drawing to a close. The 1st Canadian Army directed its efforts to cutting off the remnants of the German army still in Holland. Across flat soggy fields and along dykes, Canadian rifle battalions engaged in the grinding task of capturing village after village. On April 16th, A Company of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada queued up to make another assault on another Dutch village. With luck the defenders of Sneek would not put up much of a fight but as the Canadian infantry began to move forward, the soldiers of the 12th SS Panzer Division readied their weapons.
Attacker: Canadian (A Company, Queen's Own Rifles of Canada)

2022-11-12(D) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins German (SS) win
2022-11-12(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German (SS) winMy Canadians got into the village, but the German Mortar and 20L hurt me bad with the loss of both the Bren Gun Carrier and the Wasp...and neither of those achieved anything. Neither British mortar had smoke (as usual) and so were worthless for the entirety of the game. SS 5-4-8's with LMG's in stone buildings...c'mon...this was going to be a German win from start.
2012-10-05(A) Andy Beaton vs JR Tracy German (SS) winSmall and dicey, but a lot of fun.
