Overview:

On 8 May, 1942, the German 11th Army attacked the Crimean Front defending the Kerch peninsula. The German offensive, codenamed "Trappenjagd"" - bastard hunt -- surprised the Russian defenders. The diversion functioned well and, the next day, Manstein committed the 22nd Panzer Division to the southern breach. with powerful artillery and Luftwaffe support, the 22.Pz.Div. plunged into the Russian defense, overrunning the stunned rifle divisions. But near Uvarove, a Soviet tank brigade tried to counterattack.
Attacker: German (II./Schützen-Regiment.129 and armor of Panzer-Regiment.204)
Defender: Russian (276th Rifle Division and armor of 56th Tank Brigade)

2022-02-03(D) Ian Morris vs Gerard Russian winA reasonably good defence and lucky DRs when it mattered, conspired to force my opponent to concede on turn 3, at which point he’d lost four tanks and a recalled halftrack.
