Overview:

**Greetings, designer here. The scenario as I submitted it had 4 x StuG IIIBs, not 5. That is how it was playtested, and considered balanced on this end. IMO, this should be considered errata.** By January, the situation in the Crimea found the Russians standing tough at opposite ends of the peninsula, at Parpach and Sevastopol. With Sevastopol besieged by infantry, Manstein directed his mobile units to clear the rest of the peninsula. On the morning of 15 January, the veteran tanks of S.A. 190 were ordered to support the infantry in a large-scale assault on the Parpach line.

2022-01-27(D) Ian Morris vs Gerard German winTook the wall with the BTs, didn’t do me any good. Flamed a StuG, but it was all over by turn 3.
2021-08-19(A) David Ramsey vs Toby Pilling German win

(VASL Log)
Played with Martin against Toby, and as featured on IR 51. We played the errata'd version with 4 stugs - which definitely won't lead to the unbalanced scenario results that the scenario seems to have right now. At one point we were down 2 stugs to 6 Russian tanks, but squeezed out a win.
2020-04-29(D) Thomas Huber-Wehner vs Gerrit German winThe landscape was littered with burning Sowjet tanks. But we had some good laughs. :)
2020-04-22(A) Thomas Huber-Wehner vs Gerrit German winStill learning ASL, for me this is a good scenario to get into chapter D. Terrain is easy to handle, straight forward VC and vehicles only. My opponent, an experienced ASL player, did not like the scenario that much. It's too boring for an experienced player I think.

I took the Germans and my StuGs pushed forward fast, so the Russian tanks got the first real shots at them. Despite of hitting quite often the Russian tanks couldn't penetrate the frontal armor of the StuG IIIb's. The best result the russians got was an unconfirmed kill. Then the StuG's hit back, and with TH numbers of 8 or 7 they knocked out the Russian Tanks very easy. One StuG even got a HE kill with a 1/1 CH. :P With four Russian tanks knocked out in one and a half turns the German won this scenario.

Next week it's my turn to take the Russian side. Time to learn platoon movement.
