Overview:
Previously released as "Breakthrough to Kozani" . . .At Ptolemais, a town midway between Vevi and Kozani, German reconnaissance patrols reported that the road bridge south of the town had been blown up and that a ditch filled with water, six feet wide and three feet deep, now cut across both sides of the road. The German commander sent out two patrols to find a road that bypassed the ditch.
