Overview:

Preliminary to the main German attack on Medjez, a position known as Fort McGregor had to be seized from British defenders. The forward outpost consisted of an infantry company with its platoons dug in around a bare, rocky knoll, with the entire position surrounded by wire. Since there was practically no natural cover aside from scrub, the Germans decided to make a night assault on the “fort”. . .

2022-05-11(D) Eric Topp vs Peter Dunn British winThe Germans captured the Summit hexes but Peter was still 2 CVP short of his VC target. On the last turn, I rolled snakes to rally a HS and generate a 7-0 leader. Peter tried hard to kill these units but my Brits held on for the win.
