Overview:
On the 30th of August, the Finnish 6th Division was handed orders to attack the bridge near Tuntajoki that spanned the river Enianjoki. German Panzers (actually captured French armor pressed into service) from Abteilung 211 were given orders to support Finnish Infantry Regiment 54 in its' attack on the Russian position near Tuntsajoki. Attacking along a wide front, the Finnish Infantry tried to flank the Russian positions with support from both the 9th SS Infanty Regiment and German regular army armor,Attacker: Finnish / German (SS) (Jalkaväkirymantti 54 with II/SS-Infanterie-Regiment.9 and Panzer-Abteilung.211)
