Overview:

Originally slated for the Inchon invasion, Major General Hobart "Hap" Gay's 1st Cavalry Division was instead rushed from Japan into the Pusan Perimeter to relieve the battered 24th Infantry Division after the debacle at Taejon. Five years of easy occupation duty coupled with an earlier transfer of several hundred NCO's into the eighth Army as replacements had already left the 1st Cavalry Division in no condition for immediate action. As the North Korean 3rd Division chewed up every American and ROK defensive position on the way to Pusan, Gay's untried division would have to plug the gap until more help could come from across the Pacific.

2025-01-12(A) O Ramaille vs North Korean win A scenario where the real objective is to prevent the North Koreans to achieve automatic victory by turn 4 if they gain control of 4 or more multihex buildings else the Americans need to escape the city and exit at least 6 VP. This provides a lot of opportunities for both sides. The NK pushed to control a maximum of multihex buildings but they only get 2 by the end of turn 4. The US troops began to retreat but this proved difficult as they were scattered and pursued by the enemy. They tried to rush for exit but failed as the NK were able to close every way out. A good replayable scenario.
