Overview:

The war was nearly over and the Allies were advancing into Germany itself yet still there were battles to fight. 6th Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borders, with an armoured breaching force would start from Frasselt and seize the village of Schottheide. Poor weather bogged the armour down however, and the infantry continued on alone. B Company under Major Tinniswood, would push some distance beyond to fight for some outlying farms. It was just another day.
Attacker: British (B Company, 6th Battalion, K.S.O.B., 44th (Lowland) Infantry Brigade, 15th (Scottish) Division)
