Overview:

Fall Gelb, the invasion of France and the Low Countries, is over and Fall Rot, the conquest of France, is underway. With the cream of France's armored and motorized divisions were wrecked during Fall Gelb, France is not ready to leave the war. The German attack along the Aisne line begins early on the 5th, but the French positions manned by Algerian Tirailleurs are not quickly or easily penetrated-the Tirailleurs will not retreat unless ordered. Many of the German positions are counterattacked, often at the point of the bayonet, while one of the farthest German advances draws the attention of a sizable French counterattack supported by three dilapidated FT-17 tanks.
Attacker: French (17e Régiment Tirailleurs Algériens, 87e Division d' Infanterie Afrique and 36e Battaillon de Chars de Combat)
Defender: German (Infanterie Division 72, XXXXIV Korps)
