Overview:

By mid-November, Lt. Col. Raff's 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion had been reinforced with parts of the 26th Infantry Regiment and elements of the 701st Tank Destroyer Battalion and had officially been designated as the Tunisian Task Force. Their mission was generally to protect the Allied forces' southern flank. He did so aggressively, ultimately meeting up with Free French forces. On 23 November, after a fitful night of rest, he manoeuvred towards Sbeitla, engaging an Italian armored column headed the same way.

2023-02-25(D) Stephen dedier vs Scott Hassen American winI setup in a relatively close group in the wadi with both the mortar and 37LL in Sangars for field of fire.
Scott did a Schwerpunkt down the North side of the board and i brought all the M3-GMC on to defend that area. Dust hampered the Italians shots and the mortar and i was very effective against the Italian infantry killing 2 trucks and scattering the occupants.
The Italians turned to the South after the main thrust was blunted and the 37LL had very hot dice. Americans killed all 4 M14/41, 1 of the Svemvote and the AC for the loss of 2x GMC.
It came down to very long range shots from the remaining Svemvotes to try and kill the remaining American HT. They survived for the American win.
