2020-11-13 | (D) O Ramaille | vs | Macari Samuel | | French win | | The French fortified the central building which resisted the full battle. The Germans assault was slowed by French determination and some accurate shots that routed or pinned most of the advancing infantry. The assault guns helped a bit in the last turns to fix French defenders but one was recalled and another destroyed in CC. With 9 buildings controlled, it was not enough. The French colonial troops won. |
2020-11-10 | (A) Christopher Graff | vs | Stephen Solomon | | French win | | I made my move too late as the Germans, inflicting lots of French casualties but unfortunately not enough to capture all the required buildings. |
2020-10-18 | (D) Jason Nichols | vs | Rob MacGinley | | German win | | My first PBEM scenario. Rob is a guru of PBEM and his guidance was invaluable. The French had a tough run from the start - the German sIG's managing to place smoke onto my defensive positions which basically shut them down for two turns. Then he managed to snake eyes two sIG attacks resulting in the loss of my best leader and two squads. I retrieved some honour by destroying one sIG in CC but the result was never really in doubt. Made the mistake of only HIP'ing 1 half squad with a MMG which didn't really have any effect on the game. Well played by Rob - he managed to capture the requisite number of buildings on his last movement phase. |
2020-10-18 | (A) Rob MacGinley | vs | Jason Nichols | | German win | | A slow push where at times Germans were not successful in their plans and were in doubt of the VC Buildings |
2020-04-20 | (D) David Ford | vs | Dan Barnaba | | French win | | French won by slowly falling back to the Northeast, bloodying the Germans when the opportunity presented itself. Game went to the last turn with the French still controlling 6 out of the 14 buildings. German CVP count was 15. |
2020-04-10 | (D) Shane Pask | vs | | | French win | | Germans lost. Dice won. French had little to do with result. Germans conceded turn 6 with only 4 buildings and 6 CVP with little hope of more. All sIG recalled. Lost a firefight 4 to 1 in their favour (with the first shot advantage). |
2020-03-10 | (D) Kevin Duval | vs | Dwayne Duval | | German win | | Used German balance. |
2020-03-10 | (A) Dwayne Duval | vs | Kevin Duval | | German win
2020-03-07 | (A) David Ramsey | vs | Tony Gibson | | German win | | Won a little luckily thanks to Tony missing the VIctory Conditions being based on player turns rather than game turns, so his two hidden hs couldn’t save the day as they were outside the buildings waiting... |
2020-03-07 | (D) Paul Legg | vs | John Martin | | French win
2020-02-13 | (A) Jeff B | vs | Magnus Rimvall | | German win | 4.25 hrs | I remembered this scenario being extremely exciting; in fact I would've put it in my Top 15 of all time (if not my Top 10). Boy was I ever wrong. This time around it was a completely different story. Boring as all get-out (and I was even attacking). I chose a Schwerpunkt from the north, leaving a moderate force in the middle to prevent unopposed French adjustments and to threaten later game movement. First turn's plan of attack went perfectly, as all three Grandfathers had smoke (though one ran out). I swarmed the sole Froggy on that side of the board, not even allowing any other French units shots due to smoke cover. The next turn he was a prisoner, and this allowed my swarm of HS to begin their foray into the back building line, while my main force moved on the big central building. More smoke, more movement. The French did very little except skulk and try to retain concealment. And this was the way it would go; rinse and repeat; round after round. My overconfidence could've cost me in the end, as I broke two MA on my SP guns and spent perhaps too much time wrapping up the central building (which turned out to be fortified), but once that building fell there was nothing the French could do to stop me. Snore. |
2019-09-08 | (A) Andy Beaton | vs | Bruce Stevenson | | German win | | Came down to the wire.. I was ready for a brutal last ditch struggle for the 11th building when he rolled a 2 attacking one of my attack groups. The sniper proceeded to kill his best leader in the fortified location, followed by a broken squad and an inability to stop me from taking that hitherto impregnable building. It's a crazy game. |

2017-11-17 | (A) C. Scott Kippen | vs | Neil Gowen | | French win
2017-08-12 | (A) Michael Rodgers | vs | Brian Wiersma | | French win | | In round three of Tussle, I played against Brian Wiersma in Le Herrison. By dice, I had the attacking Germans. I attacked exclusively on the German left, thinking that at some point I would be able to send some people to the right. I tried to be aggressive with lots of half squads and my 10-2 leading the way. My SPA made smoke in the first two turns, but that was all they were able to do. Each one disabled the MA in turns two, four and five. Brian took lots of shots at them using the HMG as ordnance, but without a kill. He eventually broke and X'd out. I remembered to mop up looking for the HIP units; I found one HS that lived longer than it should have afterwards. Around turn six, I had taken five buildings and had units ready to push to the other side, where Brian did not have much left. On my last turn, however, a broken French squad self-rallied and generated a leader. With the other remnants, it was obvious that I could not win. In post game discussion, Brian suggested that the Germans need to deploy even more than I did and send forces up both sides. |

2014-12-13 | (A) Chris Brackney | vs | Kermit Mullins | | French win | | A real classic that went to the final CC! |
2014-12-12 | (D) Kermit Mullins | vs | Christopher Brackney | | French win | | Great game completed in one sitting of 5 hours. German attack swept through North edge and swung around the French front. The French inflicted 18 CVP on the Germans, who took 10 of 11 buildings, but in the 11th building the French forced a melee result in the final CC giving the French the win. |
2014-11-07 | (A) Ian Morris | vs | Gerard Burton | | French win
2014-11-06 | (A) David Ramsey | vs | Martin Mayers | | French win | | Tough opponent, with great dice.
Only got a hit with the 150s against a stack of concealed units but my attack lacked finesse and Martin's fire was too accurate. |

2014-10-20 | (A) Simon Staniforth | vs | | | French win
2014-09-02 | (A) Jeff B | vs | David Mareske | | German win | | Effective smoke placement and a destructive death star helped the Germans overrun Hangest. Well-placed roadblocks limited tank maneuverability and made for a tight finish. The French MGs were also very brittle; all were out of the game by the end of Turn 3. |
2014-07-05 | (A) Jeff Waldon | vs | Luke Sineath | | German win | | VASL-Good scenario, good opponent |
2013-10-12 | (D) Fred Ingram | vs | Mike Faulkner | | German win | | ASLOK 2013 Mini Final |
2013-06-09 | (A) mark watson | vs | Richard Carter | | French win | | Germans had a slow start and got gummed up on the right side. The mobile guns managed once hit all game, though it was a good one. Needed one more turn. Neat, fun scenario, but i don't think it quite ranks as the classic it is made out to be. |
2013-06-09 | (D) Richard Carter | vs | Mark Watson | | French win | | I was able to stall him quite a bit in the opening turns and his tanks just malf'd one after another. I was in very good position going into the end game allowing me to hold on to enough building for the win. We both had a lot of fun with this one. Of note I lost my HMG early to ammo shortage and one of the mmg's as well a bit later.

2013-02-18 | (A) Martí Cabré | vs | Òscar Oliver | | German win | | The Germans advanced steadily. On the German right the sIGs blasted a KIA and opened a hole on the defense, while in the center a kill stack with the 10-2 kept the French heads down. On the left a sIG advanced too much and a French HS burned it in Street Fighting Ambush. A second sIG KIA blasted the fortified building and the Germans pressed more, a French hero appeared and tried to recover terrain but the 10-2 stack advanced to a central position and broke more units. A French squad advanced to retake a building but finally the French player conceded with the Germans having three turns to take one more building. |
2012-10-03 | (A) nathan wegener | vs | Mark F | | German win | | Early attack went like clockwork with smoke and armored assaults covering the troops. French cowered in the city. Highlight for me was capturing 2 squads and the 9-1 with a 1:1 attack with my 9-2. |
2011-09-25 | (A) Lars Nordström | vs | Rami Saarinen | | In progress
2011-07-08 | (D) Damon Baume | vs | Richard Salisbury | | French win | | Good luck on the French side stalled the German attack until it was impossible for the German's to control enough buildings by game's end. German's conceded in French turn 5. |

2010-06-26 | (D) Paul Jones | vs | Nigel Blair | | French win | | Always a good scenario. French held central building and German attack never got going. |
2010-03-13 | (D) Paul Legg | vs | Brian Hooper | | French win | | Heroes 2010 |
2010-03-13 | (D) David Ramsey | vs | Miles W. | | French win | | I like this scenario a whole lot - but I like the french more. Still think it's balanced, but the German player has to get the most out of those tanks and not fall for the hipster traps! |
2010-03-13 | (A) Paul Jones | vs | Ray Porter | | German win | | German SPA kept ammo well and this helped pressure French so defence fell to pieces |
2010-03-06 | (D) Ian Morris | vs | Miles Wiehahn | | French win
2010-03-04 | (A) Paul Jones | vs | Damian Maher | | German win | | Great fun. Tense city fight came down to last CC rolls. |
2010-01-25 | (D) David Ramsey | vs | Martin Barker | | French win | | Nice scenario great defensive terrain meets a strong German force, Fun game. |
2009-11-13 | (D) Andy Beaton | vs | | | German win | | Very close. Excellent fight resolved in the last cc for the 11th building |
2009-06-26 | (A) Rami Saarinen | vs | JH | | French win | | Almost had it even without the tanks (low ammo following with the usual stuff), but in the end the opponent had very good luck with the dice. |

2000-02-24 | (A) James Lowry | vs | Russ George | | German win | | My first win!
The sIG IBs did well, with only one of them getting a Low Ammo marker, though another came out second-best vs a French MMG. The north-side contest captured all our attention until I realized the south side had been left open, and ran in for a last-second grab of just enough victory buildings. |
