Overview:

In the days following Operation Spring, the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division conducted several short but sharp engagements to improve their positions. One such position was the adjoining villages of St. André-sur-Orne and St. Martin-de-Fontenay. The Canadians held the southeast portion of St. André and all of St. Martin except the church on the southern outskirts. Brigadier H.A. Young wanted the church taken. He believed the objective could be taken by a company of infantry supported by engineers.

2025-09-08(D) Francesco Corsini vs Brett Snyder German (SS) winThis game was mostly based on a lot of unlucky rolls from Brett (and lucky from my side). Probably from around 30 attack rolls (with a lot of ROFs) from his HMG had produced absolutely 0 results. Small scenario great to learn but where dice luck can be very affecting given the few unit involved.
2025-04-10(D) Hennie van der Salm vs Harduin Xavier German (SS) win[Imported from ROAR]
2025-04-10(A) Hennie van der Salm vs Xavier Harduin Canadian win
2025-01-24(D) Dave B vs Steve Boro Canadian winThis was my first round at Winter Offensive against Steve Boro, a good player and a really nice guy. Things went wrong for the Germans right off the bat when Steve's first Prep Fire scored a 1MC on the top level of the cathedral where my main leader was commanding the MG, and the leader promptly rolled BOXCARS as my first roll of the game, resulting in a break and a wound. The Germans gave it their best shot, but losing that MG next and negative leadership DRM was a near fatal blow right out of the gate. Steve won on the last turn by pushing his way into the ground level of the cathedral, and wrecking my few remaining half squads.
