Overview:

At the onset of Barbarossa, Romania's primary goal was recapturing from the Russians its lost lands in Bessarabia and northern Bukovina. Although the Russians successfully resisted the initial assaults in the area, by the end of June the Axis had succeeded in establishing a small bridgehead over the Prut River, near Falciu. A major offensive was planned for July 2nd. The main blow was to be delivered by the 11th German Army. Under its command were the best motorized and most experienced Romanian units available. They were to advance toward Moghilev together with the German 11th Corps.

2023-04-22(A) John Garlic vs Ed Barnes Russian win[Imported from ROAR]
2022-04-09(A) Richard Jenulis vs Brent Morris Romanian winWe gave the Russians the balance. Tense scenario with the tides of war changing each player turn. The Russians went with an upfront defense and it looked like they slowed the Romanians down long enough to take the win. The Romanians took a load of prisoners. Then on turn 6 the Romanians broke behind the Russian lines to put them in reach of enough victory buildings. An Armored Car overrun freed and rearmed some Russian prisoners for a last glider of hope for the Reds, but a lucky shot from a LT v35 BMG eliminated the last chance to retake buildings. Exciting to the end.
2022-02-05(A) Larry Rohlfing vs Roy Johanson Romanian win
2021-06-10(D) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval Russian winWas impossible to tell who had the upper hand at any given time which made it very tense. It came down to last Turn & looked sealed for Romanian win, but a Russian HS Prisoner made the Escape TC & eliminated their Guards then on last Turn re-took 2 VC buildings to steal Victory!
2021-01-09(A) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins Romanian win
2020-07-06(A) wayne baumber vs Joel Romanian winAfter a shaky start losing a squad and leader the Romanian tanks managed to freeze the main Soviet defence point which was then overwhelmed by the infantry, With his right flank in tatters and both the Soviets tanks out of action and with several turns to go the soviet player conceded, Although our game was not the most exciting I can see the potential in this scenario for lots of mayhem especially in a closer game.
2018-04-24(D) Jonathan Kapleau vs Holland, Donald Romanian win
2018-03-10(A) Andy Beaton vs Richard Hooks Romanian winWent heavy on the left flank, sacrificed my light tanks to force the Russian armour to react to them while my good tanks supported the infantry attack. Fought a huge battle with the Russians for the central building on the road which I withdrew from after the rest of my surviving troops broke through on the left and starting occupying buildings in the backfield.
2018-03-02(A) David Garvin vs Mike Balis Romanian win
2016-11-03(A) X von Marwitz vs Sebastian Hummel Romanian winPlayed this as the Romanian attacker. I put a good 2/3 of my force on the left flank and the rest on the right somewhat in the back to keep the Russians guessing and from redeploying. If the Romanian manages to get the back of the Russian, then it is over and the Romanian will most likely win. This is what happened in our game. I'd say much depends on the tank battle, that is, rather if the Romanian tanks can be used vs. the Russian infantry without being much disturbed.

2015-12-28(D) Chuck Dye vs Kevin Killeen Romanian win
2015-06-18(A) Jeff B vs Phil Buczkowski Romanian winThe Russians lost 3/4 of their AFVs early and had some bad luck breaking equipment, leaving them with very little to hold back the Romanian AFV-led advance.
2014-10-08(D) mark watson vs Kevin Ryan Romanian winASLOK 2014:
2013-12-05(A) Jeff B vs Chad Cooper Russian winSome lucky shots early put a damper on the advance, which took way to long to formulate.
