Overview:

The German 6th Army had been surrounded for almost two weeks. Still, it in turn had trapped the Soviet 138th Rifle Division in a pie-shaped piece of land behind the Barrikady. The 138th launched nightly forays against the eastern edge of der Kessel, hoping to keep the Germans occupied as the Soviet ring of steel tightened around the city. Once again, the “Red House” ( aka “The Commissar’s House”) was the scene of bitter struggle. . .

2021-10-09(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Russian winRussian attack crept up through the dark and in close combat took out 4 German squads. They avoided the Red House and went after houses in the backfield. By Turn 4 they had the necessary houses and that was game over and a Russian win.
2020-07-02(D) Rob MacGinley vs Ian Willey Russian winA typical RB game - did not get enough support to the actual Red House when he did the big push at it and fell over
2018-05-12(D) Ricardo Garcia vs Angel Gonzalez Russian win It was great fun and I really enjoyed it. The scenario was difficult to play, and my men couldn't stop the Russians. We both made a mistake when we lunged ourselves for a building that wasn't an objective after all.
2018-05-08(A) Martí Cabré vs Nicolas Sabido German winMy attack was not well planned. I fired to soon instead of sneaking to the German lines. I tried a human wave to get to the red house but I lost half my units during the process though I manged to enter the red house, but then the ensuing firefight inside the house saw all the Russians breaking due to die rolls and I decided to concede the game.
