Overview:

In the predawn hours of December 10, flares were observed in the skies north of Agana over Dungcas Beach, heralding the arrival of 400 sailors from the Japanese navy's 5th Defense Force to Guam. Knowing the Marine Barracks was several miles south of Agana, and not expecting much in the way of resistance, the Japanese sent an advance party to occupy Agana. During their approach, the Japanese party found and destroyed one machine-gun post before Agana. Here, to their surprise, the Guamanian Insular Guard, equipped with old M1903 rifles and another .30 caliber machine-gun had set up their defense.

2022-06-08(D) Ian Morris vs Simon Guamanian winVery close game, with wild dice swings. Victory achieved through two unlikely rallies and a CC withdrawal.
2022-06-08(A) Simon Staniforth vs Guamanian winGot in the victory building T6 but low odds rallies on “Snakes” and a 4 by the Guamanians gave them just enough to prevent the IJA gaining control of the building. They were able to reinforce and hold on for the win. Enjoyable close game
2016-11-25(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Japanese winGreat game that was a brutal affair from turn 1. The Guamanians exacted a healthy toll as the Japanese advanced into the final Close Combats in the Victory Location. Final Close Combat resulted in a Japanese win. Only 2 good order and 2 striped Japanese squads left at the end. Everyone else was dead.
2016-07-20(D) Jeff B vs Ryan Ellett Guamanian winJapanese made a good push at the end, but losing their last leader didn't leave them with enough MFs to make the building.
2013-03-24(A) Paul Works vs Bill Sanders Japanese win2013 March Madness ASL Tournament.
