Overview:
A new French counterattack was launched with elements of the 45e and 49e Battalions, reinforced by a section of FCM tanks from the 2e Compagnie du 4e BCL and infantry. At 1030 hours, this new attack kicked off. Heavy enemy return fire was faced, forcing the French tanks and infantry to work their way into the village through the gardens. The pressure forced the Germans to gradually withdraw, covered by fore from their StuG self-propelled guns. . . . Big scenario covering the whole map. Germans occupy the village with some elite troops and the French must try to drive them out in the midst of oncoming German reinforcements. French have a load of armor (15 Tanks - including 6 B1-Bis). Germans get 6 StugIII reinforcements. Both side maneuvering in this big and bloody struggle. No consistently effective way to stop the heavy AFV's.Attacker: French (3rd DIM / 45th and 49th BCC)
