Overview:
The 1st Panzer Division and the SS Police Division finally captured Pushkin early on the 17th. This forced the 55th Army to withdraw to defenses at Pulkovo. In one final lunge, the 1st Panzer Division reached the Pulkovo crossroads and Aleksandrovka. The determined German attack ground itself down on the southern slopes of the Pulkovo Heights. The defenders were supported by tanks coming straight off the Kopino tank factory assembly line and straight into battle.Attacker: German (SS) (Elements 1st Panzer & 4th SS Polizei Divisions)
