Overview:

After 3 weeks of fighting, the legions of the Italian Army were in the midst of a humiliating defeat. The Greeks, for their part, had no intention of letting the Italians off the hook. As soon as possible, they launched a counterattack. In most areas the Greeks met with initial success due to the low quality of the Italian defenders. The 1st Frontier Division, however, clashed along the Vojussa River with one of the best units in the Italian Army. The river crossing was guarded by a detachment of the Julia Alpini supported by artillery and machineguns. The Italians were attempting a retrograde movement to cross the bridge with the Greeks hard on their heels.

2024-04-13(A) Maurizio Mai vs Blake Ball Greek winThis scenario as an important rule to remember: the reinforcements (of both parties) cannot jump on the hill, cause the off map hedges are level 0. That means the reinforcements need to either entry on one of the two sides of the hills/map. We played it wrongly and on the 1st turn the Greeks were on the hill with the MGs shooting at the poor Italians. There is not a slim possibility to ford the river or to run through the bridge. I would probably play this scenario again, to see "whether it make sense". The way we (and I saw another match during the eASL Open) played was obviously wrong and a waste of time. Suggestion: put such rule in the SSR for less "rules-aware" players. Just to avoid less experienced players to waste their time and complain (wrongly) about a "dog scenario"
