Overview:
"Dangerous Descent" -- The 6th Airborne Brigade of the British 6th Airborne Division was to capture the bridges over the Issel and occupy Hamminkeln, with the 2nd Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry tasked with capturing the bridges. However, the German FlaK was eagerly awaiting this airborne invasion... and the gliders were dropped too high! The British had the morning to reach their objectives before being joined by the British 2nd Army which has just crossed the Rhine.Attacker: British (Elements of the British 6th Airborne Division)
