Overview:

Under coordinated attack by the Allied troops during the morning of 4 June, the Menil 3 Fetus farm was still in German hands. One of the last attacks was performed by the 4th Seaforth under Captain Perrette. As soon as the Seaforth arrived in view of the farm, they were ambushed. Captain Perrette was severely wounded and the Seaforth were pinned down, when suddenly the Chasseurs arrived. . .

2026-03-30(D) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett German winThe Germans simply survived the initial shots (and rallied at the right times) in order to maintain a defensive curtain on the avenues of approach. By the time the French had arrived and approached the buildings, the British were in a rough spot, and the French simply could not keep the pressure up enough to be able to flood the victory area with troops.

It should be noted that the Germans did aggressively counter-attack when some squads were pinned right outside a stone building by going into CC (as there weren't any other Brits nearby that could contest when taking into account all the Grain. Allied CC rolls were also rather poor overall
