Overview:
"Failure at Chirich" - - - Rebuilt after the difficult Axis winter offensives, the Allied prepared to eliminate the enemy bridgehead in Tunisia. On 20th March on the southern front, the 8th Army passed over to the offensive against the Mareth line and slowly pushed northwards, whilst the Americans continued their advance towards Gafsa and Fondouk, hoping to cut off their retreat by seizing the city of Kairouan. As for the French, they also advanced to the east with the same objective. The Constantine Division resumed its offensive in early April on the Ousselat massif, but the other French divisions experienced less success. On the 13th April, the Moroccan Division tried to seize Djebel Chirich with its riflemen capturing a few peaks. - - - Victory conditions: The French player must exit between 46I1 and 46P4 more EVP than the Axis player and without losing > 5 CVP than the Axis player.Attacker: Italian/German (Elements II/91st Infantry Regiment and reinforced elements 961st African Rifle Regiment)
