Overview:
Operation Braun goal was to push Tito’s partisan formation away from Zagreb-Belgrade railway and from Pozega Valley. The Croats hoped that victory would be easy and would boost morale of both troops and civilian population. After initial successes pushed the partisans back into the mountains, the partisans dug in and the fighting turned heavy.Attacker: Croatian (1st Mountain Division and 1st Light Tank Company)
