Overview:

Despite the known German troop concentrations at the border, the Polish Army was taken by complete tactical surprise. Many Polish units were in the process of moving to their defensive positions or areas of concentration when the attack commenced. Even so, some German units ran into heavy resistance during the initial phase of the campaign. Such was the case when the 2nd Panzer Division ran into considerable trouble with Poland's only fully mechanized unit, Colonel Stanislaw Maczek's 10th Mechanized Cavalry Brigade.
Attacker: German (Panzer-Brigade 2 and Schützen-Regiment 2, Panzer-Division 2)

2021-04-05(D) Gerry Proudfoot vs Jim Bishop German winAll old remake of a Crescendo of Doom scenario that should probably by played with the Polish balance. The lopsided win/loss ratio does not mean this scenario is not fun but the Germans do have a lot of time to obtain their objective. It was good fun with the dice skidding one way and then the next with the German win being secured by turn the end of 8 and solidified by turn 9. The last desperate Polish charge was just for fun as it had no chance of succeeding.
2019-11-09(D) Shane Pask vs German winConceded turn 7 with no leaders left and only 1 unbroken squad. Many mechanical failures losing AT gun on second shot and immobilising 1 Vickers. Germans also suffered 2 MA breakdowns including IVC without firing a shot. Polish highlight was Berserk leader and HS destroying Pz 1B in CC.
2016-01-18(A) Ron Garcia vs Darryl M. German win
2012-10-25(D) Gordon Jupp vs Nick Holmshaw Polish winGermans got bogged down on hill line and ran out of time to occupy last building.
2011-10-08(D) Andy Beaton vs Jeff DeYoung German winASLOK 2011 - FtF
One for the bucket list - a wind change followed by an accidental building fire created a smoke cloud that obscured my defense. Could have been closer.
