Overview:

In November 1939, the Japanese had landed on the coast of Guangxi and captured Nanning. Thus they cut off the province of Chongquing from the sea, effectively severing foreign aid to China's war effort by sea and making Indochina, the Burma road and flying above the Himalayans the only way to supply china. China's National Revolutionary Army reacted vigorously in a series of major offensives in the region, engaging their best divisions. Amongst them, the 200th Division, the only Chinese armored division of the time. The battle between Chinese forces and the Japanese invaders soon developed into a series of violent clashes, most of them occurring in the contention of the Kunlun Pass.

2021-07-25(D) Rob MacGinley vs Ian Willey Chinese winThe Chinese come easily onto the high ground and try and push into the village - the lack of effective anti-tank capability means a hard game which I lost to the Chinese - did not see a dare death
2021-05-14(D) Stefan Fiedler vs Zebulon Japanese winChinesed charged on a wide front, using vehicular dust to screen the T26's and infantry following behind. Defender set up on both hills, with the 37mm gun on the topmost hill in a FH and a the mtr on the other. Japanes conceded slowly the central buildings while the TRs and gun decimated the enemy tanks. The gun was deadly.

A local counter attack took back a bbuilding and as the chinse forces were ostly broken they conceeded,

2011-04-13(A) nathan wegener vs Peter W Chinese winRip roaring fun. Charged forward using the veh dust to screen the T26's and infantry following behind. Defender set up well back and conceded most of the forward bldgs. Over turns 2 & 3 Jap ATR and 37* tore up the armor getting just low enough to hit and kill even though I kept in motion. By end of 3rd turn I had gotten 8 bldgs and was in position to assault the defensive line at the hill. A key was the last remaining tank charging the line and locking down the center squad drawing TH Heroes and CC attacks but surviving to the end trapping a couple Jap squads. This allowed my infantry to grab enough bldgs to survive a last turn counter attack.
