Overview:

Japanese aircraft approached the San Pablo Airstrip on 6 December; bombers circled overhead dropping their payloads while fighters remained above providing cover. The transport aircraft dropped elements of the Katori Shimpei Force, comprised of the 3rd and 4th Raiding Regiments. The paratroopers dropped for the first time carrying their individual weapons, in what would also be the last Japanese parachute drop of the war. The airfield was defended mainly by mixed rear echelon personnel.
Attacker: Japanese (Katori Shimpei Force)
Defender: American (Rear area elements of 127th Engineers, the Signal Company, and HHB/Division Artillery and elements of 674th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion)

2024-07-14(D) walter mcwilliams vs Tom Kearney American winContinuing our Blood and Jungle playthrough with this, the second japaneese air drop scenario. This time, Tom had the airborne Japaneese. Two of his three wings missed their drop points and ended up as far from the objective buildings on board 48 as possible assembling and moving to the objective area just cost him to much time, US long range rifle fire and MG fire made movement hazerdous whittling away the Japaneese, as they Banzied. Tom's CC DR were lack luster while mine were good leading to an American Victory.
2022-03-27(D) Rob MacGinley vs Ian Willey Japanese winThe IJA can easily overwhelm the US since the Yanks are spread out due to multiple conditions for victory - IJA can easily focus on one and keep the US at bay
