Overview:

The 2/10th Battalion, reinforced with Matildas from B Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, was engaged in heavy fighting for Hill 87 and Parramatta. A company of 2/9th was ordered forward to control positions captured by 2/10th. Eventually elements of 2/9th, along with supporting tanks, were ordered to move west and clear the urban coastal area as far as Signal Hill. Klandasan, also known as Glandesa, had been regarded as the most beautiful European town in the Netherlands East Indies before the war. Now, the heavy naval and aerial bombardment designed to neutralize the Japanese defenses left it devastated.. . .Despite the scenario name, there isn't actually a hill involved and instead has a force of Australians trying to fight the long way across two deluxe city maps and exit at least 22 CVP off the other edge.
Attacker: Australian (Reinforced 2/9th Battalion, 18th Infantry Brigade, 7th Australian Infantry Division)

2025-03-02(D) walter mcwilliams vs Tom Kearney Australian winA tight game from start to finish. Both Tom and I made mistakes but, I made the last one and allowed him to move off engough on the final turn for the wind. Highly recommended for casual and tournament play!
2024-12-13(A) Rich Weiley vs Dave Longworth Japanese win
2024-06-16(D) Paul Works vs Todd Hively Japanese win
2023-10-07(A) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd Australian winThe Japanese had a very tight defense which the Australians were able to avoid some of the big stacks. The FT tank did damage but was eliminated by a T-HH. The Axis would have won if we played with the balance.
2023-09-23(A) Dave Mareske vs Asad RustumD Australian winFinal Round of the Illuminating Rounds Tournament.
