Overview:

The Italian 47th Infantry Division assumed the defenses around Konitsa, which consisted of hills and villages. Elements of the 1° Bersaglieri and 101° Machinegun Battalion reinforced the 47th Infantry Division, making Konitsa a formidable strongpoint. The Pindus counteroffensive continued on 8 November, and the Greeks slowly gained ground. On 12 November, after an previously unsuccessful attack, the Greeks stormed the Konitsa positions once again.
