Overview:

GIs of the 83rd Infantry Division took particular pride in their use of captured German vehicles. So extensive was their “used car lot” appearance that the news correspondents nicknamed this unit the “Rag Tag Circus”. The Americans had a chance to prove the value of their assorted Wehrmacht hardware as they assaulted the German troops defending Barby.

2022-05-17(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best American winNot a great scenario in my opinion. The Germans have very limited options and very little ground to work with. The Americans can literally run all over the Germans with their trucks and Dan did exactly that and placed trucks all around my AT Gun...which couldn't set up HIP. WHY? Then Dan removed the 50 CAL from the Jeep...which he didn't need and it knocked me around like a dude at a mule kicking contest. I rolled poorly and even a 12 on a Panzerfaust effect. So it was a total butt whipping on me. I gave my best until completely wiped out at the end of American 4. Seriously...not sure what else to say. A very difficult scenario for the Germans...especially if you roll as badly as I did.

2019-07-16(A) Martí Cabré vs Sebastiano Caltabiano American winI did a wide approach to the German positions with three groups of infantry and vehicles. German captured vehicles were prone to malfunction so I reserved them for bypass freezing German positions. The German kill stack of the 838 and the 10-2 had a bad luck of 6,6 on a FPF and that allowed the Americans to quickly overrun their strong position. American firepower slowly broke the defenders and finally their FT position also fell leaving only the Gun to hold for two whole turns and the Germans conceded the scenario. It feels too much luck based, not a good impression.
