Overview:

The Japanese 11th Division had landed at Chuanshakou and Wusong. Recognizing the importance of Louodian, the Japanese commander, Yamamuro Monetako ordered one of his battalions to seize the town. Chinese General Zhang Zhizhong anticipated the possibility of a Japanese thrust to this vital town and ordered his newly arrived 11th Division to reinforce Louodian. Despite a long march in the intense August heat, the Japanese reservists arrived at Louodian ahead of the Chinese. Encountering light resistance the overconfident Japanese, instead of consolidating their position for the defense, set up camp. Advancing swiftly from the south, the Chinese 11th Division struck the Japanese in the afternoon.

2024-11-25(D) Johan Vrijdaghs vs Guerra Guido Japanese win
2023-05-24(D) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett Chinese winThe Japanese suffered a few tooo many unlucky blows, capturing the Chinese HMG early but never getting to shoot it thanks to an X result from Captured Use. A spirited BANZAI! Charge after the right flank started to fall apart nearly captured a vital multi-hex building but came up short on the move and couldn't eliminate everyone in the building. The Japanese were targeted by the Chinese sniper three times, never got to use their mortar, and were whittled down consistently. Luck was with the Chinese this day, but the scenario is short and sweet and has a respectable amount of replayability. Good for a tournament or weekday evening.
2021-10-20(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Mikko Lukkari Japanese win[Imported from ROAR]
2021-01-18(D) Maurizio Mai vs Fabio Mazzucchelli Japanese winThe scenario picked up at the last turn. The Japanese attacked along the full front, suffered a KIA 10-1 and crew with MMG. On the other hand, Chinese male the HMG on turn one and had to abandon it. Last turn, a Chinese leader with full squad enter in CC with a CX HS Japanese to get control of the winning building. Roll for ambush.... moved to the adjacent building hex and won the scenario.
2017-02-27(D) Dave Mareske vs Mark Fischer Chinese winBanzai at the end failed to take the third building giving the Chinese the win.
