Overview:

Operation Barbarossa opened at 03:15 hrs, and by mid-afternoon, the 24th Army Corps (Motorized) Panzergruppe 2 of Generaloberst Heinz Guderian, had worked their way around the fortress of Brest-Litovsk, and into open country west of Korbyn. Unaware of what was truly unfolding at the front, General-Colonel Pavlov, commander of the Soviet Western Front, issued orders for a general counterattack. As the German 3rd Panzer Division sped past the retreating units of the Soviet 3rd and 4th Armies, it ran headlong into advancing elements of the Soviet 22nd Tank Division with over 350 light tanks, sent to block the German advance.

2019-04-10(D) Will Willow vs Fred Schwarz German winVASL
2016-12-07(A) Jeff B vs Elmo Menon German winI thought the southern wall would be a hotly contested area but it ended up being the northcentral hills that were the key holding spot for the Germans. The Russians needed critical hits to eliminate their two German tanks, and their reinforcing ACs arrived way too late to the party.
2016-01-05(A) Michael Dorosh vs Colin Emerson German winPlaytest match. I brought my Germans on in two armoured groups and started dogfighting the Russian tanks. On the German left I hung back with a couple tanks and sent the others forward on the right. Rolled 1 for my secret DR so got infantry, the ATR went forward also. Big dogpile by the wall in 18AA6-18FF6 where 2 German tanks were killed and 3 Russians (and a fourth got a MA malf). Pushed a PzKpfw III up the middle and “camped” by the reinforcement point. Knocked out 1 AC and shocked 2, then knocked out 2 more in the next player turn.
