Overview:

Under the leadership of its new commander, Capt. Underhill, No. 5 Company, FSSF, crossed Bridge 5, shortly after dark and set off for Sessuno. The plan was to seize Sessuno for the night and retire back to friendly lines at daybreak. 1st and 3rd Platoons hit the left and right sides of the town and began working their way to the center. German machine-guns let loose, arcing streams of tracer fire out of the town, while mortars fired flares that illuminated the countryside beneath them. Resistance was fierce at first, but with bazookas and grenades, the platoons began to clear the Germans from the houses.

2022-12-31(D) David Garvin vs Zebulon Tingley American winThis is a fun night scenario. As the defending Germans, I was able to lay out my defences with boresiting and everything. I watched in horror as Zebulon skirted my wire and my mines and of course my boresited hexes. With a few exceptions of course.
But those Americans and Canadians of the First Special Service Force sure are tough to beat! In the end, Zeb's attack got him into the town and cleared me out pretty methodically. Great fun!
2018-03-03(A) Tom Kearney vs Lindsey Murillo American winThe NVR reduced to 0 during the course of the game. The US managed to prevail despite a stack containing the US 9-2 strayed into a location containing HIP German units.
